SoftHabit

Terms of Use

Last updated: 17 October 2026

These terms apply to the SoftHabit mobile application (“SoftHabit”, “the app”), developed and published by an independent developer (“the developer”). By installing or using the app you accept them.

1. Licence

You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use SoftHabit on devices you own or control. The app is licensed, not sold. You may not redistribute, resell, decompile or modify it, except where such a restriction is prohibited by law.

2. Free use and Pro

SoftHabit is free to use. The free app keeps up to two habits, carries the Day widget, and is drawn in its dark scene. Reminders are part of the free app and are not limited in any way.

A single one-time purchase unlocks Pro: an unlimited number of habits, every widget, and the full choice of scenes and accent colours.

3. Your data

Everything you enter stays on your device. The developer has no access to it and cannot recover it for you.

If Android’s system backup is enabled in your Google account settings, your habits and settings travel with it — both to the cloud and in a direct transfer to a new phone. Keeping a copy of anything you would not want to lose is your responsibility.

4. Acceptable use

Use SoftHabit lawfully. Do not attempt to circumvent the purchase, tamper with the app, or use it in a way that interferes with other people’s devices or services.

5. Not medical advice

SoftHabit is a personal record-keeping tool. It does not provide medical, psychological or health advice, and nothing in it should be treated as such.

6. Availability and changes

The app may be updated, changed or withdrawn from distribution at any time. Features may be added or removed between versions. Reasonable effort will be made not to remove functionality already covered by a purchase.

7. No warranty

SoftHabit is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted or error-free operation. Some jurisdictions do not allow such exclusions, in which case they apply to the extent permitted by law.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost data, arising from use of the app. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the app.

9. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated. The current version is always the one published at this address, with the date shown above.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to conflict of law rules. This does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer law in your country of residence.
